After a decade of helping startups set up their systems and marketing, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what it takes to get started and grow in the digital space.
Now, as we enter yet another industrial revolution (shout-out to my fellow Gen Xers and Millennials having survived so many “unprecedented times”), things are more complex than ever.
AI is everywhere, job competition feels like a full-time performance review, and job security? A total myth. With dwindling social resources and shaky pensions, many of us are being pushed to create multiple income streams and build assets to safeguard our future.
Recently, after going through a lengthy job interview process with multiple meetings, tests, and then… crickets—I realised I could no longer keep “monkey dancing” for approval.
For years, I’d studied countless online business models and knew I had the grit and knowledge to build something of my own. But as a true Libra (wanting to be everything, everywhere, all at once), I couldn’t settle on what would feel truly fulfilling.
The clarity came when I started talking to friends and family facing similar struggles: not progressing in interviews, feeling undervalued, or stuck overperforming in industries they're not even that interested in. Brilliant, charismatic people—lost in a brutal job landscape.
So, I did what I naturally do best: I listened, problem-solved, spotted blind spots, highlighted their strengths, and hyped them up. And in doing so, I got myself hyped up. That’s when it clicked. This was it. This was the direction I needed to go in—a universal problem I could actually help solve.
Ideas feel different when the purpose is greater than profit. When what you do genuinely helps people move closer to the life they’ve been craving. That’s what lights me up. And it’s exactly what I want to bring others along to do too.
Here’s the truth: wildly talented people often think they’re not good enough. It’s nonsense—but it’s also a learned response to the impossible expectations we face daily. We keep thinking we need to “know more” before we start. But here’s the secret: it’s never enough, because we were never meant to do this alone.
We need each other. Different perspectives. Different strengths. Different ways of seeing the world. We need to go back to basics—our own little market stalls, but this time online. The world is our village now.
Yes, it’s daunting. Yes, your early attempts might flop publicly. But take it from someone who’s started and stopped more projects than she can count: no one really cares. The ridicule you imagine is just that—imagined. People forget quickly. So, use that to your advantage.
Start something. Do it messy. Do it imperfectly. Even 10 minutes a day will build your confidence, resilience, and provide you with valuable insight. Success doesn’t come from waiting until you’re “ready”—it comes from showing up.
Let’s take the pressure off making money right away, and focus on helping others. Because if it all falls apart, at least you’ll have made a difference—and that’s always worth it.
Book a casual discovery call with me (email: bojanabrand@gmail.com), and let’s chat about where your head’s at and how I can help.
Whether you’re defining your unique genius and shaping it into an offer, or building momentum behind an existing idea—I’m here to champion you and help you bring it to life.
Let’s do this, friends.
Love,
Bojana
